Anne Gros - Bourgogne 2012 (1 Left!)
This product is currently sold out.
Anne makes some of the most sophisticated wines in Burgundy, and she made precious little in the excellent, but low-yielding 2012 vintage. Crafted with 40-year-old vines from her holdings across Côte de Nuits, this is brightly mineral and richly perfumed, with just the merest hint of oak. Frankly, it's a beautiful introduction to her style.

88 Points Allen Meadows
"(30% new oak). This is also ripe with slightly more deeply pitched aromas of dark currant and plenty of earth character. There is a bit more volume to the textured, delicious and solidly concentrated medium weight flavors that possess a hint of rusticity on the persistent and appealing complex finish."
89 Points The Wine Advocate
"The 2012 Bourgogne Rouge has plenty of raspberry preserve and redcurrant on the well-defined nose. The palate is medium-bodied, quite tense and citric on the entry with plenty of tart red cherry fruit on the minerally finish. Not bad at all." - Neal Martin
