This product is currently sold out.
With Arianna's wines we simply place an order every year and hope that she can increase our allocation. But we never need to worry about the quality, because each time the wines always surpass our expectations as they continue to improve vintage after vintage.
'SP68' is a perfect representation of her style and terroir. It consists of 50% Nero D'Avola, which shows darker berries and herbs, and 50% Frappato, which shows bright raspberries and floral characteristics. Juicy, transparent, and as always filled with life.

90 Points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
"Medium red. Pure aromas of red cherry, black plum, herbs and licorice: one can actually recognize the contributions of both the frappato (flowers and red fruits) and the nero d'Avola (darker fruits and herbs). Juicy and penetrating, with smooth red cherry and dark berry flavors framed by fresh acidity. A floral wine of lovely balance, with fine-grained tannins and a persistent finish. Unlike some past vintages of Occhipinti's wines, there is no hint of oxidation here whatsoever."

"Very pretty aromas of rose, violet and perfumed berry lead the nose on this concentrated wine. The juicy palate offers blackberry, black cherry, licorice and white pepper alongside lithe, polished tannins and bright acidity. The succulent finish closes on a mineral note."
Arianna Occhipinti is the darling of the wine industry. Her wines are loved across the world for being fresh, fragrant, and delightful. There is always joy in a bottle of Arianna's wines, and she has brought excitement to the region of Sicily like few other winemakers.
Though she is most known for her Frappato, her work with Nero D'Avola is astounding. Always a champion of Sicily's indigenous varietals, you'll never find something like Merlot bulking up these pure biodynamic wines.
