For us, nothing says "a good time" better than a bottle of Dublère's Volnays and some good friends around a dinner table. These are some of our favourite wines to have with food, and where the 2009 version of this is powerful, this is slightly more elegant and tart.
As this airs out, textbook Volnay aromas of cherries, vanilla, and pomegranate emerge, although this has a lovely vein of minerality to keep the wine fresh. No Volnay in Hong Kong is this good, at this price.

There is sufficient supporting structure to provide for 7 to 10 years of upside development potential."
Blair Pethel was formerly a reporter for Reuters in the US until he decided to pursue his passion for Burgundy and become a winemaker. He founded Domaine Dublère in 2004, and his rise to prominence has been nothing short of phenomenal. His wines have been critically acclaimed year after year, and he is only improving.His grapes see no herbicides, insecticides, or fertilizers, and he even filters the water in his mains to remove the chlorine. He is a dedicated low-interventionalist, and his wines are exactly how a Burgundy fanatic would make wine—with an intense focus on terroir and finesse.
