Christopher Santini is unabashedly seeking to make 'vins de soif'—unpretentious, drinkable, and joyous wines. For us when it comes to Burgundy, it's exactly what we want. All too often, wines here are marketed as "the next big thing" with prices to match, and frankly it's tiring.
This 100% Pinot Noir is fun, and so are the prices for a 1 litre bottle, but the work behind it is serious. The fruit comes from Mont Avri , a south-facing slope
west of the village of Givry about 30 kilometers south of Beaune.
It undergoes a partial carbonic maceration with low extraction, and comes out at 11.5% alcohol and no SO2 added. The perfect Burgundy to chill and share with friends. -

The story of Domaine Dandelion begins with Morgane and Christian. Morgane grew up in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and after studying and working abroad for many years decided to return home to make wine. There was an ancient cellar from 1899 that she used to walk past every day as a student and she knew that would be the perfect place to make wine.
Right now the cellar houses a group of young winemakers such as the Santini
Frères, who we also work with in Hong Kong. What can we say? Great minds think alike.
